Taste the Meat not the Heat SAUSAGE 24:7 •
Jimmi Dean Sausage was the former axeman of PDX darlings the Whines before he shared a moon landing with Mick Jagger, after setting sail from the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah and washing up on the Nashville shore.
Rocks Off, little babies!!
His true blue troubadour balladeering and ragamuffin style seems to keep him from swirling down into the catch-all country category sewer drain of common Americana.

ABOUT
JIM SAUSAGE
Eugene, Oregon’s most unapologetically weird, wildly charismatic singer‑songwriter who’s turning the Pacific Northwest music scene into his own personal breakfast buffet.
Armed with a guitar, a mischievous grin, and a lyrical style that blends sharp wit with “did‑he-really-just-say-that?” irreverence, Jimmi Dean Sausage delivers songs that hit you right in the feels… usually right after they make you spit out your drink. His sound? Imagine a cocktail filled with equal parts Steve Goodman and John Prine shaken and served straight up with a side of Joe Strummer and George Strait, and a tumbler full of earnest understanding of questionable life choices.
On stage, Jimmi is a controlled chaos engine — equal parts poet, prankster, and pied piper for anyone who’s ever felt a little offbeat. One minute he’s crooning about heartbreak with disarming sincerity; the next, he’s leading the crowd in a chant about the metaphysical significance of overcooked tater tots and jello-shots. It shouldn’t work… but somehow it absolutely does.
Formerly of Portland's indie-darling trio The Whines and with long-standing stints grinding axes with cult favorite Eat Skull, Sausage’s solo musical misadventures have landed him on stages with punk‑rock royalty like Victim’s Family and Tommy Stinson of The Replacements, as well as indie‑folk luminaries Kurt Vile and Cassie Valazza. Somehow, he manages to fit right in — whether he’s thrashing, crooning, or philosophizing about breakfast foods into the microphone.
Whether he’s headlining a sweaty dive bar or hijacking an open mic, Jimmi Dean Sausage is the artist you didn’t know you needed — the one who can make you laugh, think, cry, and question your own judgment in under three minutes.
Irreverent. Magnetic. Impossible to categorize.
Jimmi Dean Sausage isn’t just a musician — he’s an experience, a vibe, and occasionally a public menace.
Catch him live before he inevitably becomes a cult icon or actually sets something on fire again.
